What Is MyFax?

MyFax provides online faxing services for individuals, small businesses, and corporations. Personal and small business services are grouped together. This Software as a Service (SaaS) is provided by Protus, founded in 1997, which offers other services including a virtual phone service my1voice, and a email marketing service called Campaigner. Smartphone apps, including an iPhone App and a BlackBerry App, are available.

MyFax Personal and Small Business Fax Service

Features of the Personal and Small Business service include:

  • have the ability to customize cover pages
  • send free faxes to 41 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, and Chile, in South America; Canada in North America; China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Thailand in Asia; Australia and New Zealand in the South Pacific; and Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom in Europe.
  • have an allowance of 100 sent pages and 200 received pages each month

The features described above are those of the $10/month program. For $20/month, one can send 200 pages and receive 200 pages. For $40, one cans send 400 pages and receive 400 pages per month. There is no contract required, and you can cancel the service any time.

MyFax Corporate Fax Service

The corporate version of the MyFax service offers the following features:

Corporate pricing is not listed on the site, but “quick quotes” are available via a Quick Quote application that requires specifying the company name, location, phone number, number of employees, and company revenues.
